As a consultant, she is able to act as an independent third-party. In working closely with the organization’s leadership team or founder, Kristen serves as chief collaborator or facilitator, earnestly learning about the company’s culture, practices and challenges, to better understand and address near and long-term opportunities for growth. She is committed to helping her clients maintain the desire to do better and create sustainable impact in the communities they serve.
Kristen focuses on improving brand perception, strengthening organizational operations and attracting or retaining talent by ensuring the application of effective governance, team leadership and executive excellence. To help companies deliver social impact, Kristen works collaboratively with internal marketing teams, agency partners and creative freelancers on strategic planning, corporate partnerships and campaign delivery.
Kristen responds to client needs with empathy and flexibility. She coaches people and crafts programs that differentiates brands, empowers communities, inspires change, elicits action, drives results and retains top-tier talent.
Kristen co-founded the National CMV Foundation in 2014, the leading advocacy organization working to educate women of childbearing age about the most common infectious cause of birth defects in the United States, congenital cytomegalovirus (CMV). She has served as Board President since 2014-2020 and will continue to serve through 2021.
Before launching National CMV, Kristen worked as a client service executive with several Publicis Groupe marketing agencies, including Digitas Health, Rosetta and Razorfish, in which she advised global consumer products, healthcare, and financial services’ brands in digital media strategy, communications planning and thought leadership.
A graduate of communication studies from the University of Michigan with an M.A. in global marketing communications & advertising from Emerson College, Kristen has a passion for Pilates, the arts, education, travel and volunteerism. She resides in Tampa with her husband and two sons.
